McRaven History Tours Haunted Tours and Ghost Investigations
Along with the events going on at McRaven, we have several events throughout Vicksburg that you can see listed below:
Trivia at Mississippi BBQ: 7:00pm Every Tuesday
Trivia at Cottonwood: 6:30pm Every Tuesday
Storytime at Warren County Public Library: 10:30am Every Wednesday
Storytime at Lorelei Books: 10:30am Every Saturday
Annual Old Courthouse Museum Flea Market: April 13th, 8:00am - 4:00pm - 1008 Cherry Street The flea market will be featuring arts & crafts and food booths. For more information contact 601-636-0741.
Ghost Investigation at McRaven Tour Home 1445 Harrison Street: April 13th 8:30pm to 2:30am Take the 8:30pm Haunted tour where you will learn the history of the families and the home, before diving into full ghost stories. After the tour, we will provide you with refreshments while you hang out with the other guests and meet your lead investigators of the night. The investigation is just like you see on TV- but better! Ballroom Dancing - ChaCha Dance Lesson, April 14th 5:00pm - 6:00 pm at the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation, 1302 Adams Street Classes are presented by James Frechette. Fee Free Day at Vicksburg National Military Park- 3201 Clay Street, April 2oth Free admission in honor of the first day of National Park Week will be observed at the Vicksburg National Military Park. For more information call 601-6360583.
Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen Pageant Apr. 25th - 28th at Vicksburg City Auditorium, 901 Monroe Street The Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen Pageant will have two preliminary competitions on Saturday, April 27 and the crowning competition will be Sunday April 28.
